By partnering with both public and private schools who serve students from the City of Virginia Beach, LRNow works to support teachers with environmental education in their schools. LRNow’s Pearl School staff is available to help support student learning in relevant issues such as water quality, oysters, climate change, sea level rise, ecosystems, and other environmentally focused topics.

The Pearl School Award Program is one of our largest partnership programs. Through this program over 60 schools have been recognized and rewarded for excellence in environmental education, stewardship and sustainability.
