This area is being restored using native grasses to create a living shoreline that reduces erosion, filters run-off water and provides vital habitat for oysters, crabs, fish and more.

Plants used in this restoration were grown in local Pearl Schools as part of our Growing Wetlands in the Classroom program. Special thanks to our students and volunteers for making this possible.
