It’s time for our spring cohort spat catchers to pull up your cages and see what has grown! Cristin will be collecting your spat cages for counting at the Brock Environmental Center on Thursday and Friday, April 24-25, from 8am to 3pm.
Those who put their spat cages out last spring should plan to bring their cage back and swap it out for a new one during one of the dates/times listed. We also need volunteers to assist with the counting (shifts available both days), and if you have access to the Lynnhaven River, we could also use more participants in our spat catcher program.
This event is for the Spring cohort only. If you received cages in the fall, we will hold an event in September for counting and collecting.
