At LRNow, we believe that fostering a connection to nature at a young age creates lifelong advocates for the environment. Our youth programs are designed to spark curiosity, build knowledge, and empower action through hands-on learning experiences. From outdoor adventures and watershed education to student-led conservation projects, we provide meaningful opportunities for kids and teens to explore the natural world around them.
Grades 4-12: KidWind Challenge
The KidWind Challenge is a hands-on renewable energy design competition where student teams (grades 4 –12) build small wind turbines or solar devices and showcase their knowledge and creativity (Planning Page; Events Page).
