Trees are a very important part of our environment. Trees provide us with oxygen, purify the air, assist with flooding, carbon sequestration, and climate change. Trees also provide us and wildlife with food, shade and shelter.
The student art contest is designed give voice to the artist to create a piece of art inspired by the importance of trees in the environment and/or what trees mean to the artist.
When: All entries must be sumbitted by Thursday, October 15th 2020.Winning entries will be exhibited on LRNow’s website, social media, and included in our Annual Report publication. The winners will be notified by email by Friday, October 30, 2020.
Where: Wherever you feel most inspired!
Who: Artists must be in/or equivalent to grades 1 through 12 during the school year of 2020-2021.
Cost: There is a $5.00 entry fee. **Grant money is available for those you cannot afford the entrance fee. Please email email@example.com for more information.**
