The Lynnhaven River NOW Water Quality committee exists to support the overall goal of the organization – a clean and healthy Lynnhaven River – by serving as a technical resource on efforts to characterize, improve and measure changes over time in water quality. We will do this by:

• Reviewing and assessing available information, and recommending additional data collection needs, to establish a comprehensive baseline of existing water quality.
• Assessing, prioritizing and advocating programs and projects that maximize benefits in water quality improvement.
• Advocating for enhanced monitoring programs to measure the effectiveness of water quality improvement programs and projects and trends in water quality.
