WANTED: 20o  OYSTER GROWERS

WHO?  Two hundred volunteers are needed to make an investment of less than $100 to grow oysters in the Lynnhaven River.

WHAT?  Volunteers will raise baby oysters until the oysters are big enough to be placed on oyster reefs in the river.

WHEN?  New gardener workshops will be scheduled for the Summer 2008.

WHY?  To help clean up the Lynnhaven River... oysters are fabulous filters and the more oysters we have in the river, the more filters help to keep our waters clean!

HOW?  Representatives of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Lynnhaven River NOW will have all the information you will need
